Your scalp tells a story. Our Scalp Analysis combines magnified imaging with a guided wellness consultation to help you understand what your scalp is showing us today. We’ll look at your current scalp wellness, talk through what you’ve been noticing, and identify the care plan that may best support you. From there, we can make more thoughtful recommendations for your service and ongoing scalp-care routine.

ROOT is located inside Wi Spa at 2700 Wilshire Blvd. Valet parking is available. Once inside, enter right through the main lobby. We recommend arriving early to have ample time for parking and locating ROOT.
On your first visit, we’ll take you through a scalp analysis and wellness check while you enjoy tea. From there, you’ll move into your treatment experience, which may include cleansing, scalp care, massage, warm water therapy, and conditioning. After your service, we’ll complete a post-treatment scan, then you can finish at our blow-dry bar before heading out.
No need to wash your hair. What matters most is that your hair is ready for your service, which means having your hair free from excessive tangles and knots.
Braids and other styles that prevent access to the scalp should be removed before your appointment. Our head spa services include water, cleansing, massage, scalp manipulation, and mist, which may not be appropriate for every extension method.
We recommend scheduling your ROOT Head Spa at least 48 hours before a hair color or chemical service. Head spa includes scalp exfoliation, cleansing, continuous warm water, and mist. These elements may cause some fading or lightening of fresh color or other chemical services.
Whatever you feel most comfortable in. We recommend avoiding complicated clothing around the neck or hairline that may get in the way during your service. You’ll change into ROOT slippers when you arrive and we’ll make sure you’re comfortable before your experience begins.
Yes, they are. ROOT has seven private treatment rooms, and your head spa experience takes place in your own individual room.
ROOT is located inside Wi Spa, so you can plan both experiences into your visit. If you are using steam, saunas, soaking areas, or other Wi Spa amenities, keep in mind how they may affect your hair and scalp when planning the order of your day.
ROOT provides cosmetic scalp care, head spa, and wellness services. We do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. If something falls outside the scope of our services, we may recommend that you speak with an appropriate medical professional.
You do not need a full 45-minute analysis every time you visit. On return visits, we can perform a shorter scalp check-in and refer back to what we observed previously. If you want a more detailed look, notice changes in your scalp, or simply want to see how things are progressing, you can book another full Scalp Analysis.
